Winterhill takes its name from Winter Hill above Bolton. It is a managed IT business for founders and small teams across Bolton, Manchester and the wider North West.
Why Winterhill exists
Small teams often end up with a technology setup that grew through urgency: one person owns the domain, another knows the Wi-Fi, someone else has the supplier logins, and nobody has written it down.
Winterhill exists to make that boring and reliable. The focus is bringing enterprise-style discipline to smaller teams: accounts, devices, networks, cabling, security basics, backups, VoIP, hosting, websites, supplier ownership and documentation.
Experience
Winterhill brings more than twenty years of hands-on experience across IT and voice — spanning small-business setups across the UK, hosted telephony, the largest cloud platforms, and global enterprise environments where downtime carries real consequences.
That covers Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace estates, hardware and laptops, networks and cabling, security, VoIP and unified comms, hosting and websites, AI tooling and governance, and the documented operating discipline that scale demands. The same discipline, applied at the size where small businesses actually need it.
